Pediatric Dental Specialist
Dr. Buis grew up in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. William graduated Northampton Area High School and competed collegiately in football and track and field at the East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Upon entering dental school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, he was actively involved in pediatric community outreach and served as a LECOM representative at local, state and national events for the American Student Dental Association. He completed residency at NYU Langone Hospitals Pediatric Dental Residency in Tucson, Arizona. During residency William adopted his pet golden retriever, Calibur, who is now the office mascot at Advanced Pediatric Dentistry. In his free time he enjoys outdoor sports, video games, activities on his family’s farm and spending time with Calibur.

Dr. Milca grew up in Berks County where she completed her undergraduate career at Albright College. She then continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University where she obtained her dental degree. While obtaining her dental degree Dr. Milca taught Spanish lessons, lead service projects like Give Kid’s a Smile, and was an active leader in the American Student Dental Association and the American Dental Education Association. It was through service projects like Give Kid’s a Smile that Dr.Milca found a passion for pediatric dentistry and decided to pursue becoming a specialist. Dr.Milca completed her pediatric residency program at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, in Philadelphia. When she’s not serving patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ricardo and goldendoodle Belle, weight lifting, traveling, trying new restaurants, and going on mission trips.

Calibur is our resident therapy dog companion. He is always on duty during office hours and ready to serve as your superhero’s sidekick.
A desert dog born in Arizona, Calibur first met his dad (Dr. Buis) in May 2018 while a puppy at the Southern Arizona Golden Retriever Rescue. When Calibur is off-duty he likes to chase lizards, play with other pups, go for long walks and loves playtime in the pool! He enjoys taking long road trips with his dad and hiking new parks.
A recent graduate of Advanced Obedience Classes through Harrisburg’s Off Leash K9 program, Calibur loves meeting little children.
