Restorative Care

Bringing Back Bright Smiles

Restorative Care

Restorative care is the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of damaged teeth. At Advanced Pediatric Dentistry, we understand that many children develop cavities or gum problems despite preventative care. When restorations are necessary, we take pride in providing children with the best possible treatment while ensuring their comfort. We offer several restorative procedures to meet your child’s dental needs.

We are here to guide you and answer any questions you may have about your child’s dental health. Give us a call during regular office hours at 717-697-KIDS (5437) or request an appointment online so we can talk.

Expert Care for Every Tooth

Extractions

Occasionally, preserving a tooth may not be feasible. In cases of infection, abscess, or trauma, an extraction may be necessary. Extractions may also be recommended if your child has crowding or requires space for orthodontic treatment. With the latest dental technologies and techniques, extractions can be performed quickly, gently, and safely.

After an extraction, unilateral and bilateral space maintainers may be used to prevent the movement of teeth.

A filling procedure removes the decayed portion of the tooth and then the tooth is restored with tooth-colored composite filling material. White fillings are ideal for long-lasting dental health and help your child feel more confident in their smile.
